Support the FairTax

Please join me in supporting the nonpartisan FairTax legislation that eliminates the US federal income tax system that is ridiculously unintelligible, unfair, corrupt, and harmful to our economy and society. Politicians hate the FairTax because it deprives them of their power to sell favorable tax treatment to various lobbyists for special interests while punishing their adversaries. FairTax allows working people to keep their income by replacing the existing federal income and payroll taxes with an embedded flat national sales tax on the purchase of all new goods and services. This spreads the cost of government across a far wider tax base than the current tax system by including illegal immigrants, criminals and drug dealers, those who participate in the underground economy, current tax cheats, foreign visitors and tourists, and corporations sheltering their profits off-shore to protect them against federal taxation.
